Arabic Speaking Operations Manager 01.10.2017

Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the oraganisation functions, and accountable for the ongoing development. The Operations Manager must make sure that services meet or exceed clients’ or customers’ expectation and that their company’s operations run smoothly and effectively. The operations manager will manage multiple teams that cover a number of functions and will be further responsible for setting targets, budgets and cross-border alignments for maximising functional efficiency.


Main Responsibilities and duties:

Responsible for the setting, tracking and exceeding targets. 

Responsible for staffing and scheduling, and working continuously to optimise for cost efficiency. 

Continuously improve the quality of service- using training and supervision. 

Assist the General Manager in the monitoring of the day to day overall operation and to take corrective action when and where necessary

Ensure that the quality and service standards are effectively implemented

Ensures that the meetings (daily briefings, department head meetings, departmental meetings) policy is adhered to and when necessary conducts such meetings.

Ensures that all Health and Safety procedures are followed and co-ordinates with the Health and Safety Officer for any issues that need immediate action and the Human Resources Manager for the necessary training.

Ensures that the quality standards are properly communicated, implemented and practiced and also updated when necessary.

Endeavors to keep the operation ahead of competition by proposing or directly implementing new ideas, concepts etc.…and encouraging the team to follow.

In the absence of the General Manager, assumes responsibilities as appropriate. Keeps the General Manager informed of any unforeseen events, which may occur in his/her absence.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. 

Fluent in Arabic  

Experience working in an international and multicultural organization.

People management experience in high growth environment and managing under performance.

Leadership presence. Proven capabilities to build strong and profitable business relationships across teams.

Enthusiastic, motivated and self-confident, with the ability to form excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
